It’s not that Dinner For Schmucks is bad, far from it. Steve Carell is very sweet as Barry. However, the movie is a bit too long and a bit too sad . Mostly, I just feel bad for Barry and the rest of the dinner for winners crew.
The final scenes are shown in mice depictions: Julie and Tim finally marry, Barry is dating Darla, Barry started a breakfast of champions for all the idiot contestants, and finally Julie and Tim in Paris on their honeymoon (with Barry under the bed).

I can honestly say ‘ Dinner for Schmucks ‘ is the worst movie I’ve seen in years. The original movie wasn’t exactly classy or particularly intelligent, but at least it was somewhat believable and damn funny . Shame to see so many upcoming stars wasted in this too.
