Healthy avocado toast is super easy to make and makes the perfect addition to any breakfast or an anytime snack! Avocado toast has become my new favorite breakfast /snack. To begin, simply toast your bread; You can use any kind of toast or sliced bread you have but I like to use crusty bread or whole grain toast .
Add fresh leafy herbs or your favorite herbed sauce: Chopped fresh basil, cilantro, dill or parsley are all good with avocado . So is a drizzle of pesto, zhoug sauce (spicy cilantro sauce), or chimichurri. Put an egg on it: I love to top my avocado toast with a fried egg for extra protein (example here).
