NEW YORK — More than 50 years after the Oscar-winning film “ Breakfast at Tiffany’s ” starring Audrey Hepburn came out, you can now actually have breakfast at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store in midtown Manhattan. Last November, the Blue Box Cafe opened on the fourth floor of the iconic Fifth Avenue jewelry store.
The breakfast set is priced at US$32 and comes with complimentary fresh fruit, a croissant and choice of tea or coffee. Meanwhile, the lunch set is priced at $42 and includes a starter and main course. As for the Tiffany Tea, it’s offered at $52 and comes with finger sandwiches and small desserts.
Since 1837, Tiffany’s has been a preeminent luxury jeweler and not a place where you could actually have breakfast . Located on the fourth floor of the building, which houses a recently renovated home and accessories section, the café is a bright, airy space, with the “ Breakfast at Tiffany ” breakfast starting at $29.
Breakfast costs $29 and starts with coffee or tea and a croissant or fruit. Then it’s your choice of avocado toast, a buttermilk waffle, truffle eggs or smoked salmon and a bagel.
The primary reason Tiffany is popular , though, is that their pioneering approach to jewelry and design has always appealed, and sometimes it has appealed enough that the entire industry is transformed. It was this philosophy of natural beauty, in fact, that led Tiffany to design their signature engagement ring setting.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s – the 1961 film based on Truman Capote’s 1958 novella – has become more famous for its visual shorthands, its signifiers of New York chic and fashionable femininity, than its actual story or characters.
I asked to see a menu. Breakfast, at Tiffany , is a prix fixe (for twenty-nine dollars) that includes coffee or tea; a croissant with Nutella and honey butter; seasonal fruit; and your choice of a selection of entrées ranging from truffled eggs with bacon to buttermilk waffles to, of course, avocado toast.

I asked this in the New York store and the answer was that it was cheaper in New York . Also more choice in the New York store than at least 2 of the London stores (Westfield sites). Remember you can have rings cleaned for free in the London stores if you buy a Tiffany product. over a year ago.
He would be given a final resting place worthy of the movie star he was. Reportedly his ashes were buried with Frank Inn in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. To this day Orangey is probably best remembered as Cat in Breakfast at Tiffany’s , despite having played many other roles.
By Truman Capote It’s the belief that only good things happen there that makes Tiffany’s so appealing to her. So why choose this as the title? The title draws attention to Holly without having to name her specifically – she’s the only one in the book who loves the store so much.
In fact, Tiffany never ever runs any sales at all at any time of the year. You can get familiar with the policy at any Tiffany & Co. retail store. With that being said, it doesn’t mean you can’t find a great deal elsewhere on jewelry and watches this Thanksgiving weekend.
Of course, they don’t actually serve breakfast at Tiffany’s . Audrey Hepburn’s Holly Golightly is forced to bring her own—a Danish and coffee, eaten out of a paper bag—while she gazes longingly in the jeweler’s window at a world of luxury and wealth that seem so close but forever out of reach.
“ Breakfast at Tiffany’s ” was shot in Eastman color, a film stock that did not retain color like the old Technicolor films and faded over the years. 27 and 30 will see a film in its original luster thanks to a 4k digital restoration from the original negative.
